1) Is wheel straightening safe?

Yes—when done correctly within OEM manufacturer tolerances using controlled hydraulic correction. Unsafe methods (excess heat or aggressive pressing) can weaken aluminum.

2) What is lip straightening and why is it difficult?

Lip straightening restores the wheel’s outer edge and bead-seat area—critical load-bearing zones. It requires precision correction to avoid distortion, stress fractures, and vibration. It can not be done safely in all cases as with any repair integrity and safety comes first. We may recommend replacement.

3) Will straightening fix vibration after hitting a pothole?

In most cases, yes. Bent wheels commonly cause steering shake and vibration at speed. We measure radial and lateral runout to confirm the source.

4) Do you use heat to straighten wheels?

We prioritize controlled correction methods designed to preserve alloy integrity. 

Excessive heat can compromise aluminum strength.

5) How do you verify the wheel is within tolerance?

We measure runout before and after correction to confirm the wheel returns to manufacturer-safe specifications.

6) Can you refinish the wheel after it’s straightened?

Yes. After structural correction, we can prep, prime, and refinish for a factory-level appearance (including OEM-style finishes and custom options).

7) How long does wheel straightening take?

We offer same-day and next-day service. The speed of on-site service with the quality of off-site repairs. 

8) Do you offer pickup and delivery?

Yes. Complimentary pickup and delivery is available across Metro Atlanta, and Saturday service is available by appointment.
